Pickle Programs,
Inc.
was established in 1996 in Houston, TX
as a software development firm specializing in support applications for
advertising-supported media industries.
Rick Galloway, President, recognized
the need to streamline operational tasks in his position as Regional Director
of Operations for Time Warner Cable Operations Center, Southwest. With an Associate Degree in electronics and
A+ certification from CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association), he
began initiating the development of software applications to automatically
send spot times to clients. Rick
continues to enhance AirCheck™ to keep pace with the changing media industry. New versions include the ability to marry
spot times with ratings data to generate a Post Buy Analysis for radio, TV
and cable industries. AirCheck™ v6.0
bundles terrestrial activity with digital elements to provide an integrated
report for all ratings, impressions and clicks.
Chancey
Blackburn, EVP, Sales and Marketing, brings
a unique combination of sales and management experience in radio, TV and
cable advertising, as well as experience in Media Buying and Planning,
providing Pickle Programs’ station customers with strategic marketing and
media expertise and a 360° view of the buying and selling process. Prior to joining Pickle Programs, in 2005
Blackburn consulted with LAN, International to develop the Viero Revenue Management software system,
now deployed at over 800 Clear Channel Radio stations nationwide. In 2007, Chancey was awarded “Top 25 Women
in Sales and Marketing” by AWRT (American Women in Radio &
Television). Her career includes early
focus on interactive advertising solutions, having produced the 1st
Interactive Advertising Conference, The Future of Interactive Advertising, in
Orlando, FL in 1994. Chancey holds a
BA Degree in Mass Communications and English from the University of Buffalo
(NY) and is completing her work on an Executive MBA from University of
Colorado. She has served on the
national boards of American Women in Radio and Television and Women in
Telecommunications as well as President of the Chicago, Dallas and San
Antonio chapters of AWRT.
